Repair materials keep improving

I can remember when I spent as much, or more, time lookingfor the right parts and materials as I did actually doing a job. It's frustrating because the instructions that come with most materials never say if the suggested use is appropriate for a mobile home.  Usualy it doesn't make any difference, but sometimes it does.  For example, vinyl coated drywall is not something that is found in site built homes.  I have read lots of primer labels and never seen a specific mention of the products suitability for mobile home walls.

I used to recommend Genova fittings for repairmobile home water lines.  There is now a new product which is easier to use & fits in less space. You can see details and prices by clicking here. It will open a new window that you can close to return to Mobile Home Doctor.

Projects in the works are aerosol Kilz for covering mobile homeceiling stains, and spray texture to replace missing acoustical ceiling tiles.

One item that immediately comes to mind is PuttyTape. For those hard-to-find parts (and easy ones too), check out Magic Mobile Home Supply.
